Rendezvous

Marlyce (Martens) Gundy and Sharon (Sawatsky) Schermbrucker began singing classical and folk duets in their teens. After a long hiatus, they reunited to form the chamber group Beauty in the Blends, which has performed across the U.S. and Canada. Meanwhile, Marlyce married Jeff Gundy, and they played and sang folk music as a duo.

As the folk trio Rendezvous, Marlyce, Sharon, and Jeff now bring their close harmonies to tunes by Kate Wolf, the Wailin Jennys, Dave Carter, Old Crow Medicine Show, and others, with all three on vocals and Jeff on 6- and 12-string guitar.

Trent Wagler & the Steel Wheels

http://www.trentwagler.com/

Trent Wagler is a Roots Musician. Growing up with Bill Monroe's Bluegrass Jamboree in his backyard and cutting his musical teeth on Slap Bass, his music is a healthy combination of original and traditional songs and pulls from old time, country folk, with elements of funk, soul, and the blues. In 2005, he is set to release his first CD of all original music, "Journal of a Barefoot Soldier". Trent tours throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region and can be heard on radio stations such as WEMC 91.7 FM, WXJM 88.7FM, and WMRA 90.7 FM. His musical influences range from Townes Van Zandt and Steve Earle to Jerry Garcia, Ben Harper, and Ani DiFranco. Prior to playing on his own, Trent played in a number of bands including The Red Wagon Band, Wrestling Abe, Red Fish, Blue Fish, and has opened for Carrie Newcomer, Adrienne Young & Little Sadie, Marshall Crenshaw and The Goldmine Pickers among others.
