::: New! :::
Born in DeKalb, Illinois, I am an alleged child of the sixties who developed his musical sensibilities listening to the church choir, Beatles, Stones, Turtles, Mamas and Papas, Beach Boys, Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Tom Paxton, CSN&Y, Dave Brubeck, and many others. I write my songs to be mostly true and singable in away that invites you to song along. I'm having more fun writing now than ever. Read more here. Hey! My name is Timothy Dyck and my passion in life is serving God through music. I currently am a part of my church worship team playing guitar and singing and I also perform at coffeehouses and talent shows just for fun. Read more here. |
A little bit about Mennofolk
Welcome to Mennofolk, a site to explore folk art and music created by people from Mennonite backgrounds. Mennofolk is not just for Mennonites, but it is from Mennonites, a gallery of delightful sounds and sights to be offered to the world, which come out of our collective experience of faith, music, and Anabaptist values. (for more information on Anabaptists go to third way cafe) Mennofolk does not try to limit the themes of the songwriters it embraces, and it includes all acoustic genres and instruments, as well as visual folk arts and crafts. There have been Mennofolk locations across North America, each with a slightly different focus and form.
